Xbox Community Network - Terms and Conditions of Use


The Xbox Community Network (XCN) is a network of community-run websites, blogs and forums supported by Xbox, and the XCNCentral web site is a website comprised of various web pages and services which are deemed to be of use to XCN members and operated by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399 or its affiliates (collectively, the "XCNCentral Web Site").

The XCNCentral Web Site is offered to you conditional upon your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Your use of the XCNCentral Web Site constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices. XCNCentral Web Site may also contain additional terms that govern particular features or offers (for example, sweepstakes or chat areas) ("Additional Terms").

In addition to the terms and conditions of use you also agree to be bound by, and comply with the XCNCentral Web Site Acceptable Use Policy and the XCN Code of Conduct.In the event that any of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein conflict with the Additional Terms or other terms and guidelines contained within the XCNCentral Web Site, then these terms shall prevail.

DATA USAGE STATEMENT
In order to register for the XCNCentral website we will require you to input information about yourself and your website. This information helps us to tailor XCN content to what you want and need, lets us keep in contact with you and tell you about new opportunities, and helps us to keep track of your feedback and what you're talking about on your sites. Your information will be used in the following ways:

  • So the XCN Admin team can contact you by email, telephone or mail;
     
  • So the XCN Admin team can send you games, accessories, and other promotional items;
     
  • So the XCN Admin team can identify you against your website;
     
  • So the XCN Admin team can relate the links you send us to your website;
     
  • So the XCN Admin team can keep track of the size of your website audience.

Your information WILL NOT be circulated outside of the XCN administration team, used for any third-party marketing purposes, or submitted to any other Xbox or Microsoft marketing groups.

UNSUBSCRIBING FROM XCNCentral
If you wish to unsubscribe from the XCNCentral service you may do so at any time and your information will be destroyed. Email XCN Administrator

TERMINATION/ACCESS RESTRICTION
The XCN Administration team reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to XCNCentral and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice.

As a condition of your use of the XCNCentral Web Site, you warrant to Microsoft that you will not use the XCNCentral Web Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices.
